Rev. Cynthia Bumb
Cynthia Bumb is a minister with the United Church of Christ. She is also Executive Director of the Missouri Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice. She speaks to groups throughout Missouri to promote the idea that Christians can and should support the killing of the unborn.
Strongholds: Through a perverse view of free will, Bumb believes that Christ gives sanction to any decision as long as it is made in accord with some vague notion of personal conscience. To her, there is no absolute right or wrong and no truth; only shades of the truth that each person determines for himself or herself.
Strenths: She does show a real concern for women, but needs to learn that abortion hurts and degrades women.
